Your Arctic Journey Begins

Pickup starts from your accommodation in Kiruna or Jukkasjärvi (or meeting directly at Aurora River Camp). After getting dressed in warm thermal overalls, boots, gloves and a hat, you settle comfortably into a large sled lined with warm blankets.

Your guide pulls the sleigh with a snowmobile as you glide through peaceful winter scenery — snow-covered forests, frozen riverbeds and gentle Arctic light.
