Camp in Lapland

Our north-facing camp is the ideal place to watch the Aurora at night.

Build a fire, enjoy a barbeque dinner, and stargaze at one of our firepits as you wait for the Aurora Borealis to come out at night. In addition, guests can cross to visit the famous ice hotel during periods when the Tome River is frozen.

None of our cabins come equipped with a TV because there is so much natural wonder to explore around us—once you see the Aurora, you’ll forget all about your favorite shows! Other activities available in and around the camp include snowmobiling, dog sledding, tours, and more. Check our schedule or ask us for more information!

Plan your stay at our Aurora Camp

Arriving at the camp

We are a 15-minute drive from Kiruna airport and we offer a pick-up and drop-off service for guests.

Food & drinks

Crossing the river to Jukkasjarvi, there is a supermarket where you can get all your groceries and essentials. Alcohol can be purchased at Systembolaget, which is located in Kiruna.

Artic driving

We highly recommend renting a car to visit all the surrounding regions.

However, please note that if you rent a car, it is your responsibility to arrange for a tow truck if your car gets stuck in the snow, whether inside or outside the camp. The camp staff will not be able to help with this.
